In the first quarter of 2024, the top News and Magazines apps on the Android platform in Spain exhibited diverse performance trends in terms of weekly downloads and active users. Here's a closer look at how each app fared during this period, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Cadena SER Radio from Prisa Radio saw a steady decline in weekly downloads, starting at 3.3K in early January and dropping to 863 by the end of March. The app's weekly active users fluctuated, peaking at around 23.1K in mid-February and closing the quarter at approximately 20.1K.

Eleccións Galicia 2024, released by Xunta de Galicia in mid-February, experienced a significant drop in weekly downloads after its initial launch week. Starting with 15.6K downloads, it quickly fell to just 14 by the end of March. Unfortunately, data on active users was not available.
